It’s just the fuel filter afterall!!!
I’ve always had this problem with my car which occurs at least once a month. All of a sudden it just jerks. When I press on the accelerator, the more it jerks then all of a sudden the engine just turns off. At first I thought it was the coil or the high tension wires which has the problem. I thought that when the coil or the high tension wires get hot, the current supply wouldn’t just power up the engine. But after changing the high tension wires and changing the coil, it still doesn’t work so I had the carburetor overhauled. Still nothing changes.
After a few more troubleshooting we ended up changing the fuel filter then it worked! After all we’ve been through, I was just amazed that all those hardships and sleepless nights was just caused by a clogged fuel filter. Well, all is well that ends well. At least I’ve added some additional troubleshooting tips in my knowledge bin!
