I had bought a used car from a dealer. He had assured me about the maintenance part of the car and had told me that it was in a good condition and would provide me service for at least a year or two without any major complaints. I was driving and enjoying my car like a kid would enjoy his toy. My car seemed to be the most wonderful car anyone ever had.
But, one not so fine day, my car broke down. It stopped responding to my efforts to start it. I was angry and at the same time, sad. I had tried hard to start my car but in vain. It was just not responding. Upon calling up the used cars dealer, I got a reply that these cars don’t have a guarantee. I was told that it would not have any problem for a year or two because of its fine condition. So I started browsing on the internet for repair of used cars.

While searching, I came across some important web sources, which offered an auto insurance quote and at the same time also offered low cost car insurance. Luckily a friend of mine had gone through a similar circumstance. He knew one car repair shop, wherein I sent my car for repair and the referred sources helped me with the insurance. I had saved a great deal of money. I thank them.

My cousin had a driving accident last week when he was on his way to his girlfriend’s house. When he finally reached the neighborhood where his girlfriend is living, a dog, which according to my cousin he saw holding a piece of roast chicken in its mouth, suddenly run across the street, causing him to lose control. He tried avoiding the dog, which he was very successful of doing, but he wasn’t able to notice the car parked at the sidewalk that caused him to crash at the back of the car. Good thing he was wearing his seatbelt and his air bags worked. He came out with no injuries of any form, but the cars took a beating over the incident. His car almost lost half of its engine, while the other one… let’s just say it doesn’t have a backseat anymore. Good thing for the owner of the other car, he had his car insured… too bad for my cousin because he doesn’t have the same privilege. Right now, I see it as an opportunity to make things started for me. I am currently looking for Michigan Auto Insurance companies that could give me some good deals because honestly, I don’t have any insurance on my car and I don’t want to experience what my cousin had.

Many if not all people would want to have his or her own car. It’s such a wonderful feeling to have your own car. I myself felt the excitement a few years ago. When it comes to having a car, also comes great responsibility. You must learn how to do some basic car troubleshooting. A car also requires some cleaning, maintenance and also it add some basic expenses for fuel. Aside from these, you should also have your car insured.
