Ford’s Escape
The Ford Escape Hybrid was launched in 2004, and it is a gas-electric hybrid powered version of the Ford Escape SUV developed by the Ford Motor Company. It was built in Kansas City, Missouri, and it was the first hybrid SUV to ever hit the market. A similar vehicle, the Mercury Mariner Hybrid is sold by Ford’s Mercury marquis. A third variation, the Mazda Tribute Hybrid, arrived in the fall of 2007 as a 2008 Model Year vehicle with a limited production run for the California market. But among those, I really love the Ford version of the hybrid SUV because of its size and design. This one is practically the same as Toyota Prius in technology, but of course differs in size. This has created a form of partnership between the two brands that led to numerous selections of vehicles from the two companies. Right now, I really like the idea of having a hybrid type of car so I guess I’ll be on my way to buying one myself.
